The fat camp ran from April 21 to June 26 with four of Shakti’s top instructors, Rose Tavares-Finson, Nadine Prendergast, Tiana Douglas and Danielle O’Hayon. The race was about who could lose the most weight. Every participant had to keep an exercise and dioet diary to note all her exercise and everything she ate. There were fabulous prize including a weekend vacation. They had to do jumping racks, push-ups, skipping, boxing and kickboxing. The biggest loser was Elaine Hood from O’Hayon’s class and the biggest loser group was led by Rose Tavares-Finson. All the participants are lighter and healthier than before.

Diprivan or Propofol is a kind of drug that usually used to start or maintain anesthesia during surgeries. It is for adults and children, maintenance of general anesthesia, and sedation in medical contexts, such as intensive care unit as well as in dental surgery. This drug is approved for use in more than 50 countries also in veterinary medicine. Propofol should only be administered by people ‘trained in the administration of general anesthesia, and equipment to provide artificial ventilation, administration of oxygen and instituting CPS “must be immediately available.”

According to a new US review of 21 research studies, there is no link between juice consumption and weight or weigh-gain for most children. However, it is important to read the labels to make sure you’re drinking 100% fruit juice, and not a fruit-fortified sweet drink. The amount you or the kids drink is the key since juice contains valuable nutrients but it is high in energy.
