Avocados is not a healthy choice?
Avocados have a positive effect on blood cholesterol levels with its monounsaturated fat. Avocadoes are a healthy choice. By having a half of an avocado also counts as one of the five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables we should be having each day. Remember, avocados do contain fat and eating too much can gain weight if the energy isn’t used up through physical activity.
Fruit juice can damage my teeth?
Fruit juice can be harmful to teeth. Yes, if it is drunk frequently. When fruit is juiced or blended the sugar is released and can damage teeth. However, fruit is still a healthy choice. One glass of fruit juice (150ml) counts as one of the five fruit and veg portions we should be eating for each day. It’s best to have fruit juice at mealtimes, especially for children.
